Our unique designing for real workshop went down really well with the National trust White cliffs team in Dover. We took a group of staff and a group of local children through the process of interpreting the area and coming up with ideas for the play area. All groups made Boggarts (Below), an alter ego who explores the area and tells us what they want featured. The groups do various other activities, physically mocking up the play area with loose parts and interacting with the environment. It culminated in a detailed report outlining what the staff and local community wanted to see; and an initial response from us, taking those ideas, our expert knowledge and suggesting what we think would be most effective.
