Knightshayes ‘Storm Playground’
4 beautiful trees at National Trust Knightshayes fell down during a storm in a spectacular North, East, South, West pattern. Instead of chopping them up for firewood, they’ve tasked us with turning them into a wild adventure play area. To us this environment of fallen trees and tangled branches represents a classic adventure area that many of you will remember exploring in the past. We’re working around the natural features in this apocalyptic landscape, not wrapping everything in cotton wool and striking a perfect risk benefit approach.
As spring begins to bud we’re really excited to watch these trees grow into a playground and breathe fun into this chaotic scene… Watch this space!
