TouchWood continues to grow with two new members of the team

To support its continued business growth, TouchWood, the UK’s leading design, build and installation play company, has appointed a new Business Development Manager and a Sales and Marketing Assistant to its team.

Matthew Brady (pictured) joins TouchWood as Business Development Manager, having worked in sales and event management in the Farm Business and Leisure and Tourism sectors for over six years.  In his new role with TouchWood, Matthew will be using his experience to help develop initial client enquiries through to securing final contracts.  Commenting he said, “I have worked in the corporate sector for many years and had come across TouchWood as a client at an exhibition I managed, so I was aware of their innovative work.  When the Business Development role became available, I jumped at the chance to be part of such an inspirational business.”

Also joining the TouchWood team is Sales and Marketing Assistant Zoë Willetts (pictured) who has a broad range of marketing expertise, having worked inhouse and freelance managing sales and marketing campaigns for a wide range of clients in both the charity and corporate sectors.

In her new role Zoë will be supporting TouchWood’s marketing team and helping with the preparation of client proposals and developing sales and marketing strategies for the business as it continues to expand.  She said, “I am delighted to be joining such a vibrant and agile business which has such amazing products and strong ethical ethos.  I’m really looking forward to being able to support the business with its continued growth.”

TouchWood, which was formed in 2002, now employs 19 members of staff and apprentices. TouchWood’s team has been designing and constructing innovative, highly engineered natural playgrounds and adventure play areas for schools, councils, retail and leisure complexes and national visitor attractions throughout the UK and Europe.

Commenting on the new appointments Chairman and Founder Joe Cooper said, “We have seen considerable growth in the business over the last couple of few years. Zoë and Matt will provide a valuable contribution to support our growing team in creating amazing, unique play experiences for our clients.  We are delighted to be working on some incredible projects for clients like the Forestry Commission, schools and major retail and leisure businesses around the UK.  Our strengthened team will enable us to offer our clients even higher levels of creativity and service.”
