We're hiring for a Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview:
As the Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our projects, working at the heart of each proposal to ensure cost-efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Collaborating with the sales team, designers, project managers and clients, you will oversee project budgets, cost control and procurement processes from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans and estimates.
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project expenditure.
  • Oversee procurement, negotiate with suppliers and manage subcontractor agreements.
  • Measure and evaluate project progress to prepare valuations and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, contracts and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the design and build teams to ensure budget alignment with creative goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a QS role, ideally within bespoke construction or design sectors.
  • Sound knowledge of JCT/NEC style of construction contracts, cost management and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Great teamworking skills.
