Brief
The owners of the Mall at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol approached TouchWood Play, a quality playground equipment supplier, to create a replacement play area that reflected their sustainable aims and fulfilled the needs of thousands of visitors each week.
Our design
To create the centrepieces, we went on a major search around Bristol for hard wood trees that had fallen down during the winter storms. It took 6 months and we found 3 oak trees and turned them into interesting and exciting play features. Giant climbing trees, giant oak acorns and a 4 metre high partially hollowed out oak tree were just some of the features specially created for this busy centre.
